Honestly I did not know one could get a degree in the ems field! I already have my bachelor's in another field, so frankly I am not interested in spending that much more time in school. This is a career change for me.

thx for the info. I'm definitely fortunate to have a spouse who makes enough to support us both...it was the future family I was thinking of :) if I can be an EMT and work 50 hrs, I'd be happy I think. Granted I like the clinicals that start on Sunday :p
