    No sternum CPR

    Curiousity question -- Is there any changes you need to make in your CPR compressions for a patient without a sternum? I would think your compressions need to be not as deep as you normally would compress.

    I'v been doing some reading on WebMD and a few other sites to get a better understanding o MRSA. From what I understand MRSA is spread by contact. So you could get MRSA by touching another person who has it on the skin. Or you could get it by touching objects that have the bacteria on them...

    Narrative

    One of my fellow new EMT's is having trouble writing her narratives. I find it a pretty simple task. Does anyone have a link, or a guide to helping her writing a narrative? Was looking for kind of a print out to give her. She is a non-emergency transport emt, but would like to do 911.

    Do you wear your seatbelt in back?

    When your riding in back, patient or no patient, do you wear your seatbelt? I just get the eerie thought that I could be sideswiped or something and I'm in back, and bang! there I go into that cabinet. Thoughts? :rolleyes:
