What's the first few weeks like physically in a normal 16 week semester (edit: for entry level EMT course with lab) where everything is spread out? Specifically, is there a lot of upper body work right away?

That was my reaction at first, too. But when you think about it, what will you learn in 2 or 4 more years of degree education that you won't learn and need in PA school? One of my bio profs likes to say the PhDs in the department have more education than your general MD.

I was going to do the down-and-dirty summer semester starting in a few weeks, but decided fall is better for myriad reasons. By then I'll be almost 41 and 41 at the end of the semester.
