‘Always in Service’ Campaign Celebrates the Men and Women of EMS; Promotes EMS Week

It is almost impossible to compare EMS to Fire when it comes to PR. The big shiny fire trucks draw in the kids at early age, firefighters out number EMS providers. The older one gets the more they start to see their mortality and they try to avoid contact with us. If you have participated in...

I work for two services. Each one has medical directors that will respond to calls if they are close or if it sounds like a call where their services maybe useful. One service provides it's MD with a vehicle. The other responds in his own vehicle. There is also a medical director for the...

    Nightwatch comes to Tampa, Florida!

Though it's odd seeing one person in the back of an ambulance. Being an all volunteer rig, it's not out of the ordinary to have 3-4 people in the back treating the PT at the same time. I actually think 3 and a driver. One on the PT's right, doing questioning/IV/Meds/etc, one on their left...

160-175, depending on his mood. I am told I am getting a good deal. Yes horses are very expensive if you want to do it right. Did not get into them until later in life. I find them to be a great stress reducer. I always thought puppies were a good way to meet women. Horses are definitely a...
