    Tennessee EMT Certification

cost is about 1100 not including room and board. No idea on the pass rate. The Basic exam is very straightforward, and they teach it to the test, so I'd guess close to 100 percent.

I START MY EMT CLASS IN 1 WEEK!!! any advice?

Not sure where you're getting that from. All I'm saying is that I work with a lot of people which seem to have that personality. Heck, I'm probably one of them.

    Tennessee EMT Certification

Pelham Training in Bloomington, Indiana is great for the two week wonder course. Enjoy having to reteach everything to yourself that you never truly learned the first time they rushed through it though.

I START MY EMT CLASS IN 1 WEEK!!! any advice?

Hate to break it to you, but it's not the cub scouts any more. It's a personality very common amongst EMS folks, not all though. Plus I'm really wondering what you're basing all this on, you strike me as someone who really doesn't have a ton of life experience under your belt.

I just got home from my JOB, I've spent 108 hours on the clock over the last six days. I do this because I work two JOBs to pay the bills, and pay for school. I enjoy this JOB at times, but oh so often I feel like this JOB doesn't allow me to function at a level consistent with my abilities...

Your patient asks you to pray with them

My bad, probably should have mentioned something about the global religious studie courses which centered around literary comparison between the western Bible and the Qu'ran. So I'm basing that off of more than "a few passages" or "the perversions and teachings by a minority." There are...

    Mis-routed 911 call causes 20 minute delay

This happens frequently in my area if they don't specify the township the street address is located in the initial dispatch. Not 20 mins usually, but easily 10-15 if they really drop the ball. Sad. I remember a 40 minute response time to an arrest one night. Gotta love dispatch.

    Education Considered in Hiring?

A lot of it depends on the agency. If it's one that plans to put their basics through a medic program after hire, they'll definitely be more interested in someone who has already shown that they can be a successful student. Probably won't increase compensation though.
