This is one of those mornings when I woke up an hour and a half earlier than I had to and after only 3 1/2 hours of sleep only to finally fall back to sleep 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. o_O

Yeah. Fire season seems unusually bad in the west this year. Arizona started early and has had at least a couple of fires burning all the time.

If you want to become an EMT for the sake of reaching a goal and just for learning, I say go for it. The odds are probably against you as far as getting a job, though. There are companies that may hire anyway, but I'm sure they are few and far between. I'm not sure if event companies are strict...

My family has its roots in Mauchline. My 5th GG Grandfather is part of the Robert (Rabbie) Burns tour. He has a few blue plaques with his name on them throughout the town.

Where in Scotland? My family is from Ayrshire. Do you know anyone in EMS there? I would love to know how it works there. What their education is for each level, etc........

And now I feel soooo much better about being an EMT. lol
