    An Ems radio show

So looking at how this thread basically died, I assume people wouldn't really listen to a EMS radio show.

How many EMS agencies US wide?

I would contact the American Ambulance Association. They have those statistics. Surprising there isn't that many. I know when I looked it up there was something like 110,000 active services. But that was back in the 90's

    Resume for First Job

Wish I had the same experience. I took it off the resume and the next interview landed the position. Guess it's the difference where we applied. I have been in EMS since 1987. So it is cheaper to higher young bucks with little to no experience.

    Resume for First Job

I actually had to remove my MBA from my resume because after four interviews I found I was being passed over. Partly due to my age (probably) But they thought I was using the position as a stepping stone. I basically minimized the education until the interview. That way I could discuss the...

    Resume for First Job

List what you have as experience. Also any CPR certifications. Discuss in a couple sentences or less why you switched from your pizza position to become an EMT. Realize that people want to see work ethic, personality, and basic job requirements for hire. I applied at a job with a resume...

    An Ems radio show

They were thinking trying to bring political change to grassroots. Discuss needs live with politicians. But I thought that sounded boring and wanted some ideas to bring them. Figured what better way than to ask you.

The company I work with is looking at starting a radio station to promote what EMS Fire and Law Enforcement professionals find to be important. What types of things would be interesting to you?

Getting stuck on the Bariatric unit, advice?

Cruel and I wish uncommon. Are you huge? Seriously. Strain something and get your doctor to write you something is probably the quickest easiest way.

Co workers trying to get me fired

Just keep your nose clean. Cover your six as much as possible. It's not the military. Let your patient care record do the talking. Be the happy guy in the department. It's always hard to fire the happy guy. It's your first job get the experience and get the happy guy reputation and if it...

    Syncopal episodes for pregnant pt

I think they need to go back to the beginning. The EKG doesn't sound impressive. The cardiomegaly is easy enough to diagnose via echo. The symptoms are odd with menstration. Even more so with pregnancy. Endocrine issues perhaps. But I would start with an EEG

    Grasping for straws

Jammath you know you have shared a lot. There are several good ideas listed here. I have empathy for your situation. It reminds me of some things I have had to deal with in my past. It is obvious that you have a problem. You've said as much. You also have said you are suicidal and so...

Got stopped by some EMS guy wanting to inspect my Rig

Wow that is amazing. Here in Iowa we have just a small handful of people working in our EMS bureau. That type of inspection doesn't happen here. Heck they check your certification dates that's hardcore. I am blown away by the thought of it.
