Awesome because I've been using the crap out of other people's chargers

Serious question: if you show up to shift, and the last crew member in your bunk forgot their charger, is it acceptable to use it while on shift? That's provided that A). it's compatible with your device, and B). you do the honest thing and leave it where it's at when you leave shift

Just to clarify the front windows are down, my extended cab windows don't open at all, and I stayed at the truck. The dogs were NOT left unattended in a closed truck

Just a great day to take the dogs for a trip to the gas station

We get our ambulances from a dealer in Arkansas, so it's a mere 10 or 12 (roughly) hour round trip

I can't afford that, in politically correct terms I'm "financially challenged"

Right now I have my backpack set up as a ready ruck, but it's still only set up for short term bug out situations. If money allowed I wouldn't mind getting a chassis cab Chevy 3500 and putting a chassis mount camper module on it (like in the picture but with a 3500 instead of a 1500). But my...

All great options 😎🤠 my wife and I have also considered those tents that mount to the truck bed when set up. Some of the gear we like to bring there's more portable versions of, but as of right now we have differing opinions on that subject matter.

I'm trying to decide whether to say screw it and stick with tents for camping, or if I wanna build a very simple, very minimalist camper (basically just an enclosed trailer with doors, windows, and beds)

How good is the job market for EMT's?

Employment opportunities are plentiful. GOOD employment opportunities are the ones difficult to come by. My plan originally was to go fire, and then I got hired where I'm at now. It's hard to get hired at my service, because basically an employee has to die, retire, or get fired for a position...

Patient riding in HCFR ambulance dies

Even when running emergent, I slow roll intersections because either we can give more care to the currently alive patient. We cannot realive trauma dead patients.

Surprisingly we didn't run any DUI wrecks, but we caught 3 calls and 3 posts. On our last call, dispatch thought it'd be ok to page us additional information without any radio communication of it which resulted in a response delay

Good afternoon everyone! I just wanted to wish everyone (in absolutely ZERO particular order) a Merry/Happy: - Christmas - Hanukkah - Kwanzaa - Any other concurrent holidays that I'm unaware of For those of you on duty today, I hope y'all have safe shifts filled with joy and happiness. For...

I'm just hoping my Pokes pull through today when they play Kansas State. Admittedly watching Oklahoma State University football contributes to my poor cardiac health, but I'm loyal and true to my alma mater 🤠🤠🤠
