8 hours a day 3 days a week dispatch rotation. On call if a intercept is needed

Does this happen anywhere else, Just noticed it with a new paramedic joined. Seem to be some serious butt slapping and sneak kissing going on. Fine with me, I haven't had sex in sometime, get it while it's hot! EMS is strange sometimes.

This same company has a kink in the dispatch system as dispatchers get no sleep time on a 24 hour shift.

Is there anyone here whose company doesn't do transfers? Our company says it is wrong to allow another agency to take a transfer at anytime. Example all crews are on calls, transfer comes in, all crews are on another round of calls. Hospital calls wanting a eta, you to tell them 10 minuets...

Has anyone else noticed a steep rise in suicidal pt's on the rise, we are averaging about 4 a day, being transferred to a local mental hospitals and 5th floors. a few years ago it was far less. It's sad to think the mental problems are rising.

Monsters and pretty much all energy drink give me some bad stomach upset, vomiting diarrhea ect.

I tried one of those big can monsters, got a bad head ace. The flashing lights just made it worse.
