Havent posted anything on here and a long time, havent posted much at all. Just excited since I passed my final practical exam, now I just got to finish a couple of rides and take my nremt!:rolleyes:

Well good luck, I started my class last week and its going great. I am learning alot, there is alot of information and skills I have to learn fairly quickly, but I am really enjoying it.

Well just got done with my first day, it was pretty fun overall, had to take 2 tests today on bloodborn pathogens and CPR which i did good on, wish I had done better on my CPR, but I'll just have to take it since its decent for just having it thrown at me an hour after we got our first look...

Well I dont have a job as one, but the county i live in actually has a pay scale calculator on their site, so people can see how much they make, generally here in my county, I am in Florida btw, the start pay is like 8.75 an hour and they calculate it to about 25k base pay a year for a EMT-B.

Really sad to hear about that, and yeah I have heard of cases like this like a few years back a boy was stung over a hundred times by bees or wasp not really sure, but his parents didnt believe in medicine and only in God and so the boy died because he recieved no medical attention, really sad...

Alright guess this is the best place to introduce myself, I'll just try to breathe new life into this thread since it seems dead lol, instead of taking up space starting a whole new thread to say hi. Im starting my EMS program next monday and im very excited for that, hope to be able to come on...

hmm, well i can say that when a person who may be overweight or unhealthy starts giving advice on how to be healthier or lose weight it would definitly cause some head scratching seeing how some people may be why should I do that if you are not doing it. I guess its a set an example for everyone...
