Might be smart to first get a cert in Texas and use that together with nremt to get reciprocity in ny.
It's an annoying process. And none of your questions are dumb;)
Also when I had questions nys doh were very helpful on the phone.
Well there's no pay however the volunteers feel compensated and appreciated. Most of them would quit the organization if it started paying. (They have much higher paying salaries then Ems)
While others will totally disagree (possibly rightfully so) why don't you look into a paramedic to rn online bridge course and from there move on to np?
Just a thought
Hey have you started this course? How is it going?
I need to sign up for this sooner then later.
Unless there's another bridge program I'm not familiar with
So I have this question on a paper I am doing. I wrote "blood pressure" but apearently this is not the only vital sign needed. Also asking me for the parameters.
I have searched all over the web and can't come up with anything. If some of you guys can chime in I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks...
If you didn't already start or register (as mentioned your starting in the fall) I'd suggest looking into percom online courses. Your can save Significant amount of time and money since it's online and in addition you'll only have to do the second half so it will cut your school time and work in...
Hey, what ever happened with this. I am going doing a hybrid course with the intention of using it in NY. Am I wasting my time and money with this if I only plan on using this in NY?
The chance they'll actually answer that phone call is lower then someone on this forum who actually went through this process and can help me through it
I'm a NYS certified EMT I'm looking to get reciprocity in Texas. Anyone know the process for that? I saw the form they want filled out (Out of State Verification Form A) but it seems confusing as it wants NYS to fill parts of it out and I have no idea where to even start with that.
Thanks in...
