I guess I am confused as to why you think training shouldnt be "fun". I try to use ways to make the training MEMORABLE... so the information is retained longer. Our people often comment that they actually "learned" something

If someone walks away from a training seeing NO VALUE in the education they just received, wouldn't you say there was a problem with the delivery of the education???
I would say that you are not getting QUALITY CEUs. Our Continuing Education is MONTHLY and is relavant and valuable. We do not wait until the end of the licensure cycle and attend a "refresher" course... We do our refresher on a continuos basis. Training should be engaging and informative. You...

We train monthly. Our monthly training sessions count toward our refreshers so our "Refreshers" are continously occurring. Our service has EMRs, EMT Basics and Advanced EMTs. We all train together.
LOL you are very *perceptive*....;) about the camera system and priorities. Only two cameras in the station are on the area containing the bike ( and supplies) and in the kitchen facing the eating area??? :rolleyes: so... weird...?? indeed.

Being one of the two full timers I can tell you its a long long shift if there is nothing to do. Our current duty list is very minimal . I appreciate your input !! I agree on the training and the fitness. Training we can do... the fitness...?? The powers that be DID get us a fancy exercise bike...
