just trying to figure out if it’s something worth dropping out of medical school over. It’s going to cost me about $200,000 and Idon’t want to waste the money if I won’t be able to get licensed. Appreciate everyone input
It doesn’t show up on normal background checks, it only showed up on the one where I had to get finger printed before starting med school. It has never shown up when a job has done a background check
Does anyone know if a complaint is filed but I was never contacted by the state where I could go to see the outcome? Would it be on the state EMS disciplinary action report?
I’m being as honest as I can with you, I’m paying over $200,000 for school I just want to make sure I’ll be able to get a residency. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Like they required us to have ACLS and we did IV’s and Foley’s. Even though we were working outside the state scope of practice they can consider that practicing without a license? Even though they weren’t charging my services as an EMT. I’m just confused about the process. Not really sure what...
so even tho they filed a complaint and I never heard anything about it , it will be permanently in my record? The hospital required keeping up the license but I was not working as an EMT, I was an ER specialist.
I worked in a hospital but not on the road. They wanted us to keep the license up but working way outside of our scope. The hospital filed a complaint but nothing came of it because the job description was outside the normal EMT scope of practice.
