What to wear for a PRN position.

So I have an interview lined up tomorrow for a full time position with PRN ambulance and I'm not sure what to wear. Should I wear a formal suit to show respect to the interview, or perhaps wear field trousers and a black shirt to reflect the kind of uniform I'd be wearing while on duty?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Tips regarding the interview?

Thanks very much, all.

I have never worn anything but a suit. I would suggest at least dress pants and a tie.

Bring a portfolio case with paper, pen and copies of your resume.

do not wear anything casual unless they said to do so. I would wear dress pants, leather shoes, collar shirt and a tie as a minimum.

DO NOT attempt to mimic the field "uniform," you will come off in entirely the wrong way.

As stated, slacks, shirt and tie, and dress shoes are the minimum. Also consider bringing copies of your certifications (and the originals), resume, and driving record.

Even if they do say casual, come in a suit.

suit and tie. EVERY PERSON should own at least one suit (jacket and pants), shirt and tie, and dressy shoes. Even if you are in EMS.

and make sure it fits, preferably before you need it.
