Riding with EMS in other states

I am curious about how other EMS in different states work. I am wondering if I visit another state say like TX would I be able to maybe be on an ambulance ride along for a shift or two?

Every department is different. Make a call to a service you would like to ride with and see what their policy is. Usually one must complete a ride-along release form.

Phoenix fire takes ride alongs with no paperwork. You just have to know someone on the job, or visit a fire station and ask.
