Reflecting on why I decided to be a medic... I think my passion and love for medicine are coming back in full force. Studying, researching and appreciating the experience I've had in the field. Feel that over the past couple of years, my passion has been striped and replaced with fear of repercussions for actually treating people and worrying about a companies bottom dollar.

Join a not-for-profit 911... no more worry about the bottom dollar for field crews! :)

LOL  that's what I just left bro! Money is money, for profit or not. Recently I have let the business end of things (along with personal complacency) come between patient care and the overall company goal of bringing in a dollar. Transports have just been transports, minimal effort given to treat the most simple of things and let the ED do the rest. My care and passion had dwindled and going to work was not backed with the enthusiasm I know I carry.
BTW, you are close by me... where are you working?
