To Answer your question it depends on your company, Some Company's do both 9-1-1 and also non emergency emergency transports. Some companies offer non emergency transports as well as ER Runs for nursing facilities etc. Then some companies do strictly BLS Non Emergency Transports. As for scheduling for companies. It depends on you and the company. If you want to get a flexible schedule than apply for a PRN/Per Diem Position and those are pretty accomadating.

If you go per diem you basically make your schedule; at least at my company. If your curious about whay kind of openings are put there just start applying and see what kind of offers you get.

Everywhwre I've worked if you're per diem or prn, there's also no guarantee on how many hours you'll get. Something else to keep in mind
