I'm new here so I figured I'd start off with an introduction. I hope this is the right place to post this I'm Lindsey, almost 19, live in Texas, and will soon be starting EMT school.

I have two horses named Emma and Slim, hence where I got my username from. They are my life pretty much. I've been riding since I was 3 years old and wouldn't change it for the world. I currently work at a vet clinic as a kennel tech and often will come help the vet techs when they need it.

I'll be starting EMT-b school November 11th and am stoked. I can't wait for it to begin. It's always been something that has fascinated me.

I was given a pre-course anatomy quiz help guide to complete before class. I've completed it but wanted to double check on a few questions. I'd very much appreciate it if any of you could help me out. I don't expect any of you to flat out give me the right answers if they're wrong but if you would kindly tell me if they're incorrect I'd love it. Thanks! My answers are in bold.

Hey Emma,

Welcome. We have Morgans so I know your love for horses.
Good to see you starting in EMT class.

Recheck the muscles of breathing for me however.

Ahh... I know what school you're going to :)

Read up on how the diaphragm and intercostels work in breathing, and how they affect pressure changes in the lungs.

Thank you.

I was a little iffy with that question so I'll go back and look over my notes again.

After reviewing my notes again, I feel like a complete idiot as the answer was right infront of my face the entire time. :p

Most EMT quiz questions can be answered by visualizing in your head, or by elimination, "Why would I do that?" being applied to each answer. It'll all start to sink in as you go over it again and again :D
