apply to every ambulance company around you. i seriously suggest working for a transport service for a starter. you'll learn how to interact with Pts and basic care, you'll get tons of practice doing vitals, drive the ambulance, do reports, write narratives, etc. jumping into 911 is for the big dogs. if your still a pup like me, baby steps all the way until comfortability sets in.

Don't rule out getting on with a volley service if you can until some one wants to hire you. You will gain some great experience and start networking in the field. Welcome to the forum.
