What is the fastest route of medication administration?

To be a little bit more specific, of all types of med administration, IV, IO, IM, Trans Derm, Sub Q, Rectal, Oral, Nasal etc, what would be the fastest to slowest methods?

It's going to depend on the drug then. Different drugs of the same basic type can be modified to change it's properties for different routes. Some drugs are modified one way to make them better for IM or modified a different way to make it better for oral (less first pass effect).

That would be my guess.

Depends if we are taking route of administration ie is PR faster to physically administer the medication into the body than say IM or does an IV dose take effect faster than ... for example, a PO administration?

Of course it also depends if Brown is shoving a cannulae into somebody who has little Nana veins or great big drainpipes .... hmm,
