I took a bit of a hiatus from EMS. I never re-certified my CT state EMT-B cert (I was a couple months shy of 18 at the time), moved to KY for school (among other things), and now I'm back a few years later to hopefully take another class starting this month. I applied a bit late and faxed my application with hopes that the last three spots in the class weren't filled before I could do all this. But, alas, I have positive thoughts and I'm banking on starting next week.
Basically I wanted to re-introduce myself to the forum and reach out to see if there is anyone else who is living in KY, specifically Louisville? I found that despite being in a city, I had better luck finding a less expensive class in my small town in CT. The ones here in Louisville seem far and few between, which is surprising.
Looking forward to learning and absorbing as much as I can.
