Justin Schorr and Mark Glencorse talking with William Sugiyama and Mike Taigman about the potential future of paramedics shifting towards the sort of thing we often talk about on this forum. As the title states, "Community Paramedicine".
Taigman is an interesting guy whom I think has a lot of good ideas and understands the problems, but even when a somewhat frustrated Glencorse pushes him on why we can't have the paramedics make the clinical decision to treat, release, & refer he kind of backs away from that. It just seems to be something that someone as progressive as Taigman doesn't even want to touch which is sort of disheartening.
