It's on 12/2 in Hyattsville MD. $20 registration. I lucked out - we can use one of the department's vehicles to carpool to and from the event.

Ugh, to get to PG county at 0730, I hate to think about what time I would have to leave...

We're leaving from our academy no later than 0600. As a reference, I used to be on I-95 at exit 143 (Stafford) no later than 0510 to make it into Springfield by 0550-0600. Getting back home will be even more fun for you, unfortunately. You might as well have dinner there after the event and leave for home a little later.
