I wouldn't bother taking the course over again. Look over your book, and I'm sure things will start coming back to you. Plus if you work for a transport service you will be able to practice the skills you learned in class.
Why not have both AA and bachelors degrees for the paramedic level? This would be similar to the RN model. Keep the basic level for IFT transport and maybe for FF's. Let's keep it as a stepping stone towards becoming a medic. Have two pre-reqs for the basic course, at least four unit's of A&P...
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but why start a online business in these tough economic times? It could be more trouble than it's worth. If you do plan on starting something hopefully you have a good business model. Not sure if EMS products is a good niche. It would be...
I see nothing wrong with him going straight to medic school, thats if he's able to find a good medic program. Probably highly unlikely since most schools in CA want experience. Find another IFT position, and get that experience. Also, make sure you get your full hourly wage next time you do...
What's the law regarding driving an ambulance with a different company name, and no license number on the sides of the rig? The two company's are in no way related. I'm sure it's illegal in some way right?

Currently a basic in Houston doing the IFT thing for about two months. While being a basic isn't the most exciting EMS job in the world, it's a good learning experience. As far as future education plans, right now i'm undecided if I want to go the medic, nursing, or PA route.
Need any information on them since I haven't found anything searching through google. I know they are not the top three private ambulance service in houston, but any information would be helpful.
To drive one I meant. Here in CA you have to take a test down at the DMV, and you get special permit to drive. I couldn't find anything about this on the Texas DMV equivalent. This is why I asked the question.
