For anyone that has the chance to do it I must say that the CCEMT-P program hosted by Careflite (Dallas) is a great course. Not so much because of the program layout but they have some amazing instructors. I think I learned more about CHF today in 20 mins than I have in the last 10 years.
So I just took a lecture that was based on the theory of never monitoring your pt in lead II. It was recommended using V1 or modified MCL1. The reasoning was it is easier to identify p waves and bundle branch blocks.... Now here comes the fun part. It was said that it is possible to have a lead...
