    Mems isn't a bad place to work. They called me for an interview, but I was already working full-time elsewhere. As far as trucks, I have mainly seen type two basic transfer trucks. And, type three Medic trucks. You might go here for some info about the company. www.metroems.org

    1st post, no training, very curious.

    My service we work 24 on 48 off. Even though right now i'm on 72 straight. As far as call volume it depends. Sometimes we do nothing but run, days like today we haven't ran a single call. Yet As far as pay, we get paid Emt's get paid 7.25, and Medics around 10 or 11 dollars. I am about to go...

    Correct way for a blood pressure

    On our medic truck we keep a automatic bp cuff. But, none of us that normally work on it even uses it except for the pulse ox. We all prefer to do it manually.

    Taking NREMT on the 26th...but

    I took my basic class last spring, and we had brady. My instructor hated it, barely had any information he felt we needed to learn. When I studied for my basic which I took on the 16th I just got a couple of National Registry test books and studied them, and took online test's.

    Post the # your test stopped at, and if you Passed/Failed

    Mine stopped at question abou 104 I believe, and I passed. To my surprise, I thought I failed miserably.
