500 mg in each tablet

My protocol allow me to give paracetamol 1000 mg by oral. I found it is hard for some patient to swallow it . No water in ambulance, Any suggestions ??

Can EMT's make breath test for patient to find alcohol in there blood by using breathalyzer device or other method ? If cannot Is this bad idea ?
