I thought I was the only one, I've done 2 days in a rig and have all the same trouble as you, so your not alone. I think it is just a thing that requires more experience. Of course the company I work for gave me a cheap steth, I think i better go get a real one :)

I'm only recording what the doctor instructed to be recorded. Skin color and temp, and the strength of the pulse doesn't matter in this particular case. The doctor only needs the BP, Rate of pulse, and the amount of skips. While I appreciate your response, the complete assessment is not needed.
