Learn words that specify location like proximal and distal. Inferior and superior. Medial and lateral.

Start to learn the bones, the number of vertebrae, the basic body systems.
These two areas are usually at the beginning of most EMT classes and can be the most difficult portion of the class for new students.
It was suggested to me to read Thom ****'s (kciD spelled backwards - added by Chimpie) book People Care. Not so much of a must read to pass your classes but just an overall good book to read going into this field.
