Paramedic shot at as he treats a patient

A paramedic has condemned yobs who shot at him as he was treating an injured man at the roadside.

Allan Norman was pelted with plastic pellets, believed to be from a BB gun, after being called to Watts Road in Portsmouth.

He was trying to treat a man in his 30s who had fallen from the back of a lorry onto a kerb when the attack happened about midday yesterday.

At least the UK takes the problem seriously. They actually have a national campaign to attempt to reduce the violence against EMS. Here people just joke about it or ignore it completely.

I saw posters a couple of years ago they were posting everywhere and it always hits the news when an assault takes place.
