Hey everyone, wanted to say thanks for all of the info. I just received my EMT-B cert on Monday.

My question is, I paid for and applied for my state registration in Texas BEFORE I took my NREMT test. How do I go back in and add my National registry number to receive my state license?

As long as you applied for initial certification and completed a DSHS approved course, you shouldn't need to go back and add your National Registry information. You can check your certification status on the TX DSHS website.

You can fax the state with your new NR number. Sometimes that speeds things up.
