Hey everyone.
I've got about a month left before I'll be taking my national test to be certified as an EMT. I've been reading some threads to learn from others experiences, and I'm sure I'll have some questions as time goes on. It seems like most others on the forums are already certified and have more experience than I do, but I hope to contribute when I get the chance.
Just for a little background: I live in the Pacific Northwest, I'm 22 years old, and I'm going to be married this October. I've been a volunteer firefighter for 3 years now. Our department never responded to medical calls until this year, and I've enjoyed them much more than I enjoyed fire calls so that's where I'm going to shift my focus. Eventually I might leave the firefighting side as a whole, but for now I'll probably stick to both.
