revisions to paramedic scope of practice

I'm an emt in Kentucky and through the rumor mill I caught wind that people are looking at expanding the scope of practice for paramedics...I don't know if its just in the state or if it is the national registry. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about it

there have been a couple of "National scope of practice models" that have come out in the last year or 2..... Push is, to make the feds mandate X is X is X across the nation, like NREMT, but not an "option"

as for your state doing something different? No clue.
