So I noticed that Ochsner Flight Care has a Flight Paramedic opening at their New Orleans base.

Anyone have any info/experience with them? Haven't heard of them before.

Never heard of them but looks like a hospital based program with a EC135.

That's about all I know as well, other than that they don't seem to be CAMTS accredited.

Have you flown RW before? Hospital programs have their pros and cons like anything else but most are fairly good. However most of the programs I am familiar with are operated by a larger company which Ochsner does not seem to be.

When I first started looking at flight jobs I wasn't very familiar with CAMTS and it was not a huge factor in me applying however now I do not think I would work someplace without it. I take pride in knowing our program is one of the few CAMTS Critical Care accredited in the region. A lot of CAMTS programs are accredited at the ALS level.

Yeah, I'm currently on RW.

I feel the same way about the accreditation, wasn't too familiar starting out but doubtful I'd work somewhere that doesn't have it. I find it strange that a service of that size (looks to be at least 7 bases) isn't accredited.
