Hello my name is Anthony and I currently live in Santa Barbara, CA. I am a chemistry major and SBCC and I work as a health assistant in the Santa Barbara School districts and have been an EMT-B for a little over a year. I never even thought of a forum for ems personell until recently when I started to consider getting a more active ems responder job. Im looking to work on a rig with one of the only ambulance companies in my area (AMR) and im about top get my dems license. I joined because i wanted to hear from other emt-b's what its like working on the ambulance(my observtion hours were not enough) and if you had any advice!
Also on a side note i start classes for phlebotomy next month and was wondering if anyone here did that also?

I did 2 clinical classes, the 1st one taught me phlebotomy the 2nd taught me injections as well as other clinical skills. I did it so i can learn ahead. Welcome to the EMT family enjoy your stay. Lots and great information, knowledge and especially experiences on this site.
