Hey there,

This is my first round of recertification and I have some questions that don't seem to be getting answered at work.

I understand that you need to have a refresher course.

But I'm wondering about free courses?

I found one called boundtree university and it's free and they say they're accredited and everything but I don't want to take all the time and log all the CE hours that, from my understanding can be counted as refresher hours, only to submit everything and be denied recertification.

My service will pay for a the refresher so that's not an issue if I have to take one, I'd just like to stay home and/or do it right at work if I can.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

If your gonna use the NCCP model for NREMT recert only requires 40 hours total. I like these guys cause they always answer any questions I've ever had. They are pretty well know as well and you could do all the hours needed on your computer cause it's considered "live" training and not distributed. Now if your state doesn't accept the NCCP model for recert yet or doesn't base recert just on having NREMT they also have the traditional 72 hour method.
