mchd is hiring

Great agency to my north is hiring, Feb. 12-13th are interviews. MCHD is Montgomery County, Texas's 911 provider and also does IFTs. They are paying well, something like a 6k bonus for paramedics, also hiring EMT-Advanced and EMT-Basics. Their 911 trucks are mostly P/P.

Medics there are looking at around 65k/year once they clear. It's a career spot.

Here's their pay scale. Degree incentive pay, etc. It is very, very tempting.

How does their paramedic “squad” operate (aside from what’s described on their homepage)?

This caught my eye, and seems pretty sweet. A solo-occupied fly car, I imagine that takes some seniority to bid?...

I dunno, I'm a Creek guy. MCHD is legit though. The only thing keeping me here is my weird awesome peak truck schedule and school. If it wasn't for those, I'd try hard for MCHD.

Btw, 100% power load cots, vents, pumps(?), etc.
