Indiana AEMT Courses?

I am trying to find courses for AEMTS in Indiana that have the shortest time frame possible to achieve my certification. I know community hospital has one for $1,200 and its about 3 months give or take but it is a bridge program for EMT-I's. due to working rotating shifts I would prefer an online course. I'm starting paramedic school next October so I'm just wondering if I should even do the AEMT( would like experience closer to that level before going to medic school). Any Help is appreciated. thanks

I could very well be wrong but I do not believe Marion County or surrounding counties recognize I's.

Greenwood fd in Johnson county has roughly 40 EMT-I, and the state is about 170 total. The EMS chief told me that the state however is requiring you to bridge the EMT-I into the AEMT, or be dropped back into an EMT-Basic.
