I don't know if it's just me but I have been seeing a lot more spam since we switched over to the new site. It seems like I am reporting multiple threads every day.

Has anyone else noticed this?
Does XenForo have any kind of spam filter?

Yes, there's an increase in spam and we're trying to figure out if it's human or robot. I tend to lean on human, as we're still preventing five to ten accounts daily from even finishing the registration process. If they are humans, there's not much we can do but rely on the reporting system.

The nice thing is that the reporting system is working. We're able to remove the threads/posts very quickly with special thanks to the entire Community Leadership team.

Of course it doesn't hurt that we have contests between us to see who can ban the most spammers....:p

But DE went poof so lights is in the lead!

Can you add multiple databases?
http://www.stopforumspam.com
And
http://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/
Work well
Also is the site running thru cloudflare?
They have some good lists too

Should also be able to add phrases in the content spam managment that will autodelete/flag posts. Its not as easy though for a medical related site.
"It is important to not to give nitro to a patient on erectile dysfunction medications such as viagra and cialis."

I don't like to give out too much about what we use, but I've added some additional features today.

Hopefully its the equivalent of a Trunk Monkey... As soon as spam is detected, it reaches through the 'net and whacks the offender. ;)

We're still working on the spam issue. We had it tightened up for a bit, but something has changed. We're working hard though.
