We've had some downtime this week due to server hardware and software issues. I believe that we've addressed the problem.
We've been using the same server since 2004, and over the years have upgraded memory and hard drive space to improve server performance. Last week it was determined that it made sense to move to an entirely new system, which was completed with minimal downtime. Unfortunately after the move the datacenter techs discovered that our new machine was underpowered for our needs. This morning, after receiving countless monitoring alerts, I contacted the datacenter who suggested an upgrade. The upgrade is now complete, and I'm hopeful that our problems are behind us.
Personally, I blame Chimpie.
