Hello everyone! I just joined the forum and I'm hoping you can help me out. I took my EMT class and practicals in the state of Ohio (while I was in college). Passed & graduated. Moved back home to Chicago where I work full time in Supply Chain and part time as an EMT (State of Ohio, state of IL, and national certification). I am going to get on a fire department real soon but wanted to inquire about recertification (yes, I know I still have a while). I currently work for an event medical organization. EMTs need 60 hours of CEs to recertify in the state of IL every four years. For EMTs this can be just all online (whether or not that's a good thing). What's the best way to get all these hours? Online like the "Target Solutions" application or in person classes? How do I log these hours? Thanks!
