Hello everyone.
I'm here in the hopes that someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm a 25 year old and I have just recently finished a master's degree in psychology from a European University. Long story short, I want to change paths. I value the education I have acquired but I'm not passionate about it.
My ambition is to try and get a Canadian study visa and climb the ladder from the CPR course to, eventually, the ACP diploma.
I have taken the IELTS english language assessment and scored 8.0 (overall).
So now my question is: how possible is it for a European to follow the paramedic route in Canada? Can anyone point me to any programs that accept international students?
Also, is it possible to work and study on a study visa? I would need a means to fund my stay. I have some money to cover the EMR studies and put me through the first few months but after that I would need a steady income.
Any help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time!
