So, I was wondering if you can have two Scope of Practice? I would like the L.A. County EMT full scope of practice, as well as the OC EMT scope of practice. Can I have both or can I only have one? I would like to be able to apply for jobs in L.A. county, as well as Orange County...I live in L.A., but my EMT school is in Orange County, so I have the option of taking the O.C. EMT full scope of practice through my school, but I would need the LA County one in order to work/apply for jobs in L.A. I'm sorry if this is a super noob question to ask, but I'm just trying to understand it a little better.

Thank you.

Yup, you can take as many accreditation or local scope classes as you'd like. You only have one state certification, though, which you get through any county (it's the same state cert regardless of which county you get it through).

Your scope of practice is going to depend on which county your company/division is based out of.
