I completed the classroom portion my states (RI) AEMT/Cardiac program, which expands the typical scope of practice for AEMT's, in September. I am enrolled in nursing school, and have been slowly completing practical/ride time hours as I have plenty of time to spare. Will I be able to use the hours listed on the syllabus and assign them to continuing education units.
When I put the course into my transcript, it seemed to automatically assign the hours based upon a typical advanced course. Worst case scenario is I recert by exam, but it's a little absurd considering the price difference as well as the fact that the AEMT was well over 200 contact hours. Anyone have any experience with this?
