was wondering if anyone has the low down on amr hemet division,

As a former employee of the evil empire in Riv Co. Hemet is a pretty cool division. Mostly 12's except for Anza and Pine Cove IIRC. Don't plan on bidding to go to those stations. Call volume is definitely there as I used to work in that area, the city of Hemet is busy too.

I second this info. Hemet is actually a decent division where the ops manager takes care of his employees. Equipment is decent and pay is decent. Usually a decent amount of double time shifts to pick up.

I know several people from their division who all enjoy it and I work closely with one of their former supervisors who is still there.

Spent close to 10 years at Hemet. It's all 12s, except for Pine Cove which is 48/96, Anza is Riverside division. They cover the cities of Hemet, San Jacinto, most of Romoland and Homeland, parts of Winchester, and the Pass which is the 10 fwy, west to Calimesa, and east past Morongo Casino. Top end management is awesome, Ops manager is the best boss I've ever had. I left in 2016, since then i have heard that the AMR corporate culture has invaded a bit more. If you're new expect to start in the Hemet Valley area, HFD is insanely busy, it's not uncommon for E1 and E2 to average 30 medicals every 24 hrs. HFD went ALS in 2015, good group of guys. Cal Fire has 2 stations in San Jac, 25s is pretty busy, though it's now a B ride and medic squad. 78s a lot slower. From friends still there they have put additional units up to help with the call volume, but don't expect much down time. If you're a new medic it is an awesome place to work to get experience.
