Is it possible to have another job on top of the emt one? I just applied for emt school and I know the pay is not much. I was wondering if I can keep my current job as a fitness instructor and get a set schedule as an emt. Are the hours set or the schedule changes?

Very possible. I work at FD fulltime, PRN respiratory at one hospital, ER tech at another hospital.
