    Jumpsuits

As long as it is blue they are happy and they recommend one to us if we work 24s and graves due to ease of dawning and comfort. Pretty much everyone out here wears them so the only thing screaming noob is it won't be faded ;) We only do simple extrication so no worries there

    Jumpsuits

I am looking for recommendations for a jumpsuit. My dept covers the price up to a 100 bucks, the rest I have to come up with. The local shop has one that is quite expensive and a lot of the people I work with don't like it for quality and comfort reasons. It is some random brand. So anyway...

    Personal Equipment?

Where I work we are required to small pack with us where ever we go (4x4s, 2x2s, tape, bp cuff, ears, etc.) They gave us fanny packs but I bought the 5.11 push pack. Much better! Anyways I leave it in my car when off duty because I also work as a pcf for the local fire dept and often spend...

    EMT's at Casino's

Yeah it hasn't been to exciting sense I started but we have had a few calls. Nights I am told will be a lot busier which I will be working once I am done with training. They get about 5 to 6 calls a shift depending on the day of the week. I just ran a chest pain call with Tiffany a few days...

Most places aren't going to care as long as you have your license and if your state requires an extension you will need that as well. Oh and keep your driving record clean.

    Something Weird

I figured as much. I was just curious if anyone else was actually doing that cuz it sounded like a lawsuit in the making. "Woh, what happened, I passed out... why is my lip busted open?"

    Something Weird

has anyone tried the "drop test" where you pick up there arm and drop it on there face. If it falls to the side they are faking it, if it falls smack on there face they arent. Heard about it from an emt who goes to a lot of prison calls.

On those slow days, how do you pass the time?

I usually just text my wife or walk around doing safety checks. Oh and people watch. That is pretty exciting when you work at a casino. Weirdos all over. I also like to watch the roulette table.

    EMT's at Casino's

I just started working as an EMT at an Indian Gaming Casino and so far I really enjoy it. The casino I work at is pretty great in that they have a dedicated first response team separate from security and are also the fire/ems for the reservation. I am new to ems so I thought it would be a great...
