Unless you were advised via radio that there was an emergent pt awaiting transport, no, there is no legal recourse. If you were to have gotten into a crash on your way back to the stadium for "stand by", a prosecutor could argue that there was no immediate life threat that you were responding...
our protocols state that if there is any question about the validity of the DNR. I thought that there had been mention about family member input, but it says, and I quote
"♦ When presented with a State of Florida Yellow DNR Form 1896 or State of Florida Yellow DNR Device which is a miniature...
That must be a california thing, because out here in FL, they used to have someone at the testing sites to recruit those that just passed their state exams. It really wouldn't hurt to apply there anyway, or any of them for that matter. The worst they can tell you is no. Good luck
Also, most companies offer EAP to their employees. Even if you do not take part in CISM, or that is not offered to you, EAP is free and you can have up to 6 visits per issue per year. My thoughts and prayers to you, your co-workers and the families of those lost.
I was there a few years ago. But the meds that I have been using are no longer working. I had tried OTC, herbal, exercise, meditation, you name it. I need to take a week off from work, detox the current med and try all that other stuff again.

I wish it was only occasionally. Every night. But once I fall asleep, unless my alarm goes off, I can sleep. It is the falling asleep that I have the issue with.
