Liberty Ambulance Kern County Hiring EMTs and Paramedics

I just spoke to a medic who used to work there. He told me it’ll probably be a couple months before any real changes make news.

They do have a website. Still under construction, but they did reply to my email.

Liberty Ambulance Kern County Hiring EMTs and Paramedics

I believe they are hiring full time EMTs, but I didn’t ask. You could work for Delano or Hall Ambulance. Delano has the city of Delano and McFarland. Hall runs basically everything else. Plenty of info about Hall here. To add, Hall only hires full time. I worked for Delano very briefly and I...

    McCormick vs AMR/AMR vs McCormick

Sigh. It took me a year and a half to appreciate how terrible LA county really is. 1 year of ******** IFT, 5 months of county’s bull. Get outside the county if you can OP, it’s worth it.

    Emergency 1 Response

I know a few people that work there. They apparently don’t hire anyone without 911 experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Delano Ambulance

I’ll call and ask about hiring part timers. As someone who’s currently in their undergrad, that scheduling sounds sweet.... That’s all I wanted to know really. Thanks.

I have an MD, but I wouldn't mind seeing a PA or NP. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

    PRN Ambulance Info

I take back what I said. Avoid PRN. Incompetent dispatch, and they will try to make non DOTers run LA city calls. Supervisors will hassle you for requesting a bariatric gurney. No OT (rarely approved). Useless maintenance department. Only 8, 10, or 11 hour shifts. To get an 11 you have to work...

When does Los Angeles county bids renew???

    PRN Ambulance Info

It's a pretty good place to work. A lot has changed over the last half year, but it's not bad. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

    Good Bye Bowers

I live in SCV, so working in the Santa Clarita division is ideal, but the more I learn about AMR SCV, the more I want to stay away. How long does it take to get on a roaming 911 car? I wouldn't mind AV though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
