Agree with the others take a state side EMT course. Since you are already trained look into one of the emt bootcamps it's a intense 2-3 week course. It will allow you to sit for your licensing exam
Agree with rujero I've had people I know go from zero to hero or their only ems experience being Granny totes taking patients to and from diyalsis without ever getting real experience. My advise is get your basic and work on a truck for a while before going to medic school

I've never worked with them in the field before but I have trained with tactical physicians and nurses. They were on the medical strike team for post 911 terror attacks and all sworn officers with the local SO swat team.

Us and the local FD share equipment here. When we got our new power stretchers at the beginning of the year they received training on those so they could use our stretcher and help us load patients in the truck but other than that if we work an arrest or anything they just dig into our bag just...
The Georgia patch is not fraudulent, you can get it with or without the rocker. We've got non emts working in ems that will wear the state patch without a rocker.

Here in Georgia we have als and bls, als means medic on board and bls is 2 aemt/Emt-I or a basic/ aemt. Can't run 2 basics

Dekalb is amr not rural metro and Macon is middle ga ambulance service which is hospital based. Other than that you are correct. Metro Atlanta also has paulding county and 911 backup for Cherokee county

Ift company I work for uses iPads with knock off otter box cases. They absolutely suck touch screen doesn't work half the time and pcr software is garbage
